your first step into understanding if being a tattoo artist could be an option for you. 
 
this one day seminar is designed for aspiring tattoo artists who want to learn the basics of the industry and gain insight into what it takes to get started. while this seminar won't make you a professional tattoo artist, it will give you a honest insight into what it will take to get yourself an apprenticeship and what you can expect from there on.
 
during the day abi will talk you through her experience in the industry while sharing advice from her 11 year long career. you can expect to learn about current industry trends, how social media can impact your career, gatekeeping in the tattoo industry, pros and cons of being self employed, health, hygene and laws of the industry, how to improve your tattoo designing process, what tattoo studios are looking for in an apprentice and why tattoo courses which promise to teach you it all in a few days are not the best way in.
 
the tattoo industry is already highly saturated so to be able to make it in this profession you need to not only stand out but fully understand what you’re getting yourself into before you quit your day job to commit to making tattoos for a career.
